@nick_pope @Eurostar @EurostarUK As we didn't want to take the car, there are not really other options to be able to maximise our time there. The ferry plus driving is a long journey and car on LeShuttle means parking etc. Looks like it's got to be St Pancras

We want our "International" stations in Kent back as international stations.
The St Pancras @Eurostar terminal is inconvenient and often massively overcrowded.
My letter in this week's Kent Messenger responding to a letter saying "International" should be removed.

@katesfxmakeup I think we are too bombarded with such news. It wasn't long ago that News from around the World was only shown on TV if the magnetic tapes made it through the X-ray machines at Customs intact on their way to the Newsrooms. Now, it's all live streaming. You are a diamond!🫡

Halloween done, indoors, feet up, red wine in hand, new slouchy PJs on. Feeling SO tempted to move abroad and get out of the mess that this country's in. Never felt so fed up with politics and how everything has changed, and not for the better.

Isn't it odd how the mother of a child can be imprisoned by a judge in this country for a handful of tweets but a newspaper who allow and encourage such vile comments against their articles can still get away with it on a daily basis.

Sometimes when I go to events my wife comes with me. If the @MailOnline get hold of pictures they put it on their website and hundreds of comments tear my wife to pieces. She’s never thrust herself forward or courted attention in any way. I don’t know if the comments are real or written by the mail. Or by bots. But I do know it’s cyber bullying. And mysoginist. And I think it may be in some way the business model of the @MailOnline . Monetising unkindness.

I managed to stop 2 people getting a flu jab yesterday !
Their grandson had had the flu spray at school
so i said - then they’ll all get chickenpox or shingles -
they looked astonished
as that is exactly what happened !

I've never taken deposits for private bookings, i.e. non-corporate/film/studios etc. This year I've had 3 bookings over the Halloween period (which is always booked up in advance) cancel. Probably too late to get new bookings. Some people just don't consider the implications.

I'm in ❤️ with my dehumidifier.
Completely dries my laundry, no need (yet) for turning on the heating to dry everything. Litres of water in the tank which would otherwise be inside my house.
Normal service resumes tomorrow.
