Do I know anyone with Long Covid who is willing & able to speak with my class for ~30 minutes or 15-20 with 10 mins to allow for 2-3 Qs (as early as this coming Tuesday 10am-12:20pm CST) via Zoom? Camera unnecessary. I’m giving a talk on Health Tech for Special Populations & hoping to address specific barriers that telemedicine cannot address (besides the obvious). Ideally you would discuss your ailments & perhaps what tech has been useful or failed you because of your health issues (unable to get out of bed due to dizziness or memory issues or mental exhaustion so forth and so on). 1. Heartbroken to see our Horizon proposal for ME/CFS did not pass the cut-off. Every aspect was positively evaluated and got high appreciation. But some unfair negative comments killed the chances of success. Wonder who evaluates these proposals and if they understand ME at all

Lieber Herr @Karl_Lauterbach, eine sehr begrenzte Offenheit für nicht biomedizinische Forschungsansätze mag aus politischer Sicht vielleicht notwendig sein. Wenn jedoch mehr als ≈5% der Mittel der 'Nationalen Dekade gegen postinfektiöse Erkrankungen' in BPS-nahe Strukturen fließen, wird aus meiner Sicht eine sachlich schwer zu rechtfertigende Grenze überschritten.
