Stop it. Utter utter nonsense. It’s a 1.5 trillion scam. NET ZERO - The governments own website shows that so far British Tax payers have paid & committed to paying £328 BILLION in Net zero subsidies. You lot a completely off your rockers. Sling your hook, you are decimating this country.

Todays Twitter Poll: How much would you have made if you... - Bought a car for £6,000 - Sold it for £7,000 - Re-bought it for £9,000 - Sold it again for £11,000 PS this is a simple question of the numbers, ignore inflation, tax, erosion of money etc

@MartinSLewis So if you have savings and a mortgage would it be better given the political climate to take the savings out and pay the mortgage, before savings get raided?

Yes that's a common misconception - Many millions have savings (24m have premium bonds alone). - There are more savings accounts than debt accounts in the UK. - During the pandemic over an extra £100bn of savings was built up We have a split society. Millions have savings. Millions are struggling. The idea of there's one type of 'normal person in the street' is not a concept that works.
Ava Barrett@avabarrett991

@MartinSLewis Really, do you think anyone has savings after 14 years of Tories' leadership?

Elon Musk fired 80% of Twitter (6500 people) and everyone thought that Twitter was doomed. He was right. Everyone was wrong. It’s the management masterclass of the decade and every entrepreneur must understand why it worked 🧵:

Kind of regretting retweeting this as so many people in the comments thought he was being serious…

@JamesBlunt Well I just sat through 2 hours of Blunt in Glasgow. Save your money. Worst show ever, not a tuneful note and total silence from the audience. 😉

Aaaargh. Tearing my hair out right now (and if you've seen my hairline you'll know that's not an uncommon occurence) to work out how to put all the info I want into an ITV hour (46mins) tonight 8pm. I want to save you a shed loads on bills, but what goes in the graphics, and what doesn't. I could do a 3hr special!

MPs pay is lower this year than it was in 2010, in real terms. Had MP salaries kept up with inflation, they would today be at £96,650. Instead they are £10,000 less than that. Literally no one acknowledges this.

Anyone else noticing the wave of racism from Brexiteers towards the thousands of Hong Kong refugees? They may have entered the country legally but they're still foreigners - so it must be happening, right?

The BBC report gives rise to the inescapable conclusion that NatWest Group provided the media with confidential information (and personal data) regarding my financial affairs. This would constitute a serious data breach and, worse still, disregard client confidentiality by the bank. My legal team have written to the ICO asking them to investigate and take action. mailplus.co.uk/edition/news/p…

This is so true and explains brilliantly why it is in all our interests to make the effort to use cash 💷 Why should we pay cash everywhere with banknotes instead of a card ? - I have a £50 banknote in my pocket. Going to a restaurant and paying for dinner with it. The restaurant owner then uses the note to pay for the laundry. The laundry owner then uses the note to pay the barber. The barber will then use the note to pay for shopping. After an unlimited number of payments, it will still remain a £50 value, which has fulfilled its purpose to everyone who used it for payment and the bank has jumped dry from every cash payment transaction made. BUT IF I go to a restaurant and pay digitally via Card, - the bank fees for my payment transaction charged to the seller are 3%, so around £1.50 ( and so will be the fee of £1.50 for each further payment transaction ) -for the owner re laundry or - payments of the owner of the laundry shop, - or payments of the barber etc..... Therefore, after 30 transactions, the initial £50 will exist at only £5, and the remaining £45 has become the property of the bank … thanks to all of the digital transactions and fees! Use it or lose it folks… Once it’s gone we won’t get it back! Cash is king! #CashIsKing

@Nigel_Farage They may have leaked their reasoning, but they didn’t leak any data under GDPR. Aren’t GDPR rules one of the EU regulations you want rid of?

Absolutely devastating exclusive from @Nigel_Farage on GB News right now proving his de-banking was indeed primarily motivated by his politics, judged "not to align with the values" of Coutts. Completely chilling for all society, esp those of us who do not hold the authorised view of the corporate Woke set on important issues. Shame on this useless govt for presiding over this attack on basic freedom to think and debate.
