A1: I started my second full week today. I’m not very good at taking time for my own needs. In the past I was better, but since I’ve begun teaching elementary, I struggle with simply getting enough rest, but I’m on a weight loss journey & I’m sticking to it. #resiliencechat

@elena_SF_CA I guess that's a good start albeit pragmatic like you said. What else would you want to be added to the support system? #resiliencechat

A2: Our district has done a good job helping elementary teachers & students stay safe. We have air purifiers in every classroom, we are all masked, & the teachers are either vaccinated or tested regularly. So we are supported, but on a very pragmatic level. #resiliencechat

A3: I’m lucky to have support at home. My wife is my lunch chef, my IT, my Siri, & my personal shopper. I’m lucky to have her. At work, I find I mostly need time alone to work independently. I’m friendly, but I an introvert. I need time to recharge. #resiliencechat
