I have supported Trump since day one but I can't figure out what he and his administration are thinking and doing right now. His messaging sounds like it's coming from a person with split personalities. We need the strait, we don't need the strait, Lindsey Graham is not straight, other countries should take the strait, we're gonna take the strait or wage war on 93 million civilians. Contradictory Positions: Position 1: US will actively open it / take control “With a little more time, we can easily OPEN THE HORMUZ STRAIT, TAKE THE OIL, & MAKE A FORTUNE. IT WOULD BE A ‘GUSHER’ FOR THE WORLD???” Suggested the US could seize and profit from the oil. Warned Iran that the war won’t end until the strait is reopened (and threatened escalation if it stayed closed). Position 2: It’s not our problem / allies or others should handle it “We have nothing to do with the Hormuz Strait… That’s not for us.” Told allies (e.g., France, UK, Europe): “If you want oil, go up through the strait… build up some courage and just TAKE IT.” “The United States does not [need to guard it]. The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded… by other Nations who use it.” Position 3: It will open naturally / no big deal “When this conflict is over, the strait will open up naturally.” “We don’t need it… The U.S. imports almost no oil through the Hormuz Strait.” Suggested the US could exit the conflict even if the strait remained closed. Other notes/flip-flops: Criticized allies for not helping reopen it, then said the US doesn’t need their help anyway. Shifted timelines (war ending in 2–3 weeks vs. longer) and conditions for ceasefire (strait must be open first, vs. willing to leave without it). These statements appeared in Truth Social posts, speeches, interviews, and Oval Office remarks over a short period in March–April 2026, often changing within days. What do you think of this messaging?

so much time spent bragging about not starting new wars and also putting israel on blast for outsized influence in the us then suddenly starts a new war alongside them such a chaos but i can only surmise he is trapping israel i trust trump is doing something very good for all of us

There will soon come a time when President Trump appears to abruptly change tactics. In reality, there will be no change. The underlying direction will remain exactly the same. It will only seem like one.

@katmancon I was revoked access to White House cause of my X posts. Free speech? Can’t question Israel? I wasn’t helped in my government battles while fraudsters get pardons. I have more stories to say, leading up to all of this. Kept turning a blind eye. You think you know me?
