Pharmacy providers (n=40) not currently delivering #HIV #PrEP and #PEP services in Kenya liked the idea of delivering these services and thought they could reach individuals who could benefit. Findings from a provider survey presented by Dr. Victor Omollo at #IAS2023 (OAE0105).

⁦@KNgure⁩ presenting research from our team on how we might leverage the private sector, specifically private pharmacies, to expand the reach of #HIV #PrEP services in Kenya and similar settings at #IAS2023.

The WHO now recommends the use of #HIV #self-testing to support delivery of #PrEP based on findings from a systematic literature review conducted by our research team. This can facilitate more opportunities for differentiated and simplified PrEP delivery. who.int/news/item/22-0…
