@deanrabbidge Choppers definitely the way to go if you don't already need wheeltracks. That last spray we do needs 250-300l/ha.

Pretty cool bit of tech on farm today!Putting 100kg/ha urea on swedes, following the same wheelmarks as the sprayer did. We're not using any more fert than we did, we're putting it on over 3 applications, instead of all at planting like we used to. Trying to stop losses out the bottom. That JCB looks awesome in red too! @JCBagriculture @Amazone

The medical took forever but finally, 17 year old son will be off in Feb 2024 after completing Year 12, passing NCEA Level 2 (which no one understands). His father is disappointed he isn't interested in the farm. Can't force them into farming I keep telling him. Agree?
