Many people in the comments to this question appear to believe that I would actually want either of these men leading the country. Frankly, I think Angela Rayner's saggy old bra would probably do a better job than either of them.

Again, I do not think the media and indeed the Labour Party understand the strength of feeling and support for Keir Starmer. Ignore the opposition, they would hate JFK if he was Labour leader. Starmer’s Labour Government is slowly turning it around. They deserve their full term

I honestly do not want to see any challenges to Keir. On that basis I’d be perfectly happy if Burnham failed to win the by-election. If he does win & goes on to challenge our democratically elected prime minister again, I hope he looses. Were anyone to remove SKS I’m done

I want @Keir_Starmer to stay on as PM because he’s democratically elected and I like him. But I also want him to stay because I want him to prove every doom-and-gloom, presumptuous journalist, podcaster, and columnist wrong.

I have reflected on this a lot. If Burnham succeeds in getting rid of Keir I don't think I'll be able to vote labour again. I have voted labour all my life and am a party member. How sad is that

It strikes me that the problem Starmer primarily has boils down to him wanting to make improvements quietly, sensibly and lastingly, and he isn't a massive bloody show-off. His unpopularity says more about us than it does about him. We are a profoundly unserious country. #r4today

I am a Labour party member and am not going to vote for Andy Burnham Wes StreetIng or anyone else. I am going to vote for PM Starmer because he won a landslide victory under two years ago & needs at least another two years to demonstrate economic and political success.

Don’t normally do politics on here but as a Labour Party member I have to say that Wes Streeting as PM is the very last thing the party or the country needs at the moment. Keir was elected on a manifesto and despite the noise from the media, a lot of good work is being done.
