i won’t mind getting cheki for others once i’m living there but i think it’d be too complicated to do it for just anyone, or otherwise too expensive for the customer unless there were dedicated otakus for the group their oshi is in lol

i have no idea if anyone has ever done it professionally but i know people in the community are pretty willing to help out!! i think it’s too complicated to offer as a proper service but there are usually ppl willing to help

Ok but would any gaijin living in tokyo ever consider doing a professional daikou service committing to getting cheki for intl fans at lives or is that too corporate/involved for an individual proxy service

@YRZrzFxnYc82618 yeah i know people who have gone to see my oshi and others in her group/under the same agency from sweden, mexico, uk, america, canada (including me, and i’m also moving soon) so there are more than just one chika idol who get foreign visitors

as a foreigner who moved to japan bcoz of oshikatsu, SO many other foreign otaku i know have done the same or very frequently visit. idk what this is supposed to mean but there are a lot of us.. even my oshi has multiple foreign fans that come quite frequently bcoz of me

i assume ppl do the same w chika idols they oshi. it is definitely a different feeling when you get to see them. it’s honestly so amazing and i have a diff relationship w idols i’ve met than ones i haven’t but it’s just not feasible for most people outside of japan

even though i’ve seen both my favorite idol groups live i feel like there’s a lot of ways to get involved with ur oshi without having seen them. i haven’t met katy yet but i connect w her through buying merch, insta live, SNS, dms and other fans who can physically go to lives

I know calling people larpers and tourists is in right now but I lowkenuinely don’t get how people ‘oshi’ chika idols they’ve never seen in person. Like the appeal is I get to see them perform in some jank livehouse from 3 feet away and then take a cheki with them afterwards.

@trrrincakes well they’re in their 60s, not 60. my grandma is 64 and was 45 when i was born i think😅😅 it is rly nice though her little sister is in her mid 50s and has a kid my age and a kid 10yrs older than me and the whole family loves vocaloid
