@TheDevilsDNA How would United be able to deal against low blocks given that teams using it will try to block central progressions and Carrick wanting to play centrally?

Not that there was much doubt in this given last year, but these signings confirm what direction we are going in & I like it. Very different from previous 2 managers. The need for multiple ground covering defenders reduces with such an approach. Still need to close that DM though

My thoughts on Tielemans. For the price & what it means for Carrick's vision to keep the ball & progress centrally I'm excited. I don't think he's as technically well rounded as people think, esp deeper or when under pressure. Mainoo rotation makes sense. Peak partner DM key now.
