Not even close to true. Bitcoin is a repudiation of government controlled fiat / endless money printing. No serious bitcoin enthusiast cares about corporate ownership, we care about money that no one has a monopoly on. And no corporations will ever achieve a monopoly as it would crash the value and be impossibly expensive to do.

@PeterMcCormack As BTC ownership becomes gradually corporate crypto champions will pledge to other networks. Bitcoin is an ideology against the system, if it is owned by the system the people will find freedom elsewhere.

@IanCarrollShow I mean it’s pretty common for Mormon kids to rebel against their parents and strict faith. I’ve known quite a few queer kids of Mormon families who had it very rough and were disowned.

Does anyone else think it’s weird that most people seem to be rolling with the shooter they sold you just hours ago when we have no idea what the motive would be or why a kid raised by a cop registered republican would ever want to kill Charlie? There are still soooo many unanswered questions and parts of the official story that make zero sense.

@elonmusk That is the definition of all government. All government is immoral because it is funded by theft (taxation). It will never achieve long term sustainability. You can't square that circle. If violence is immoral then taxes must be immoral. The social contract is a clever fiction

@ProudSocialist Capitalism is merely freedom. Socialism is coercion. A capitalist transaction is merely a voluntary exchange between two parties of goods or time/work. Socialism on the other hand can only be achieved through violent enforcement by the government.

@ProudSocialist Minimum wages don’t achieve anything. They just raise everything higher. Prices go up to accommodate. Plus it’s a violation of the non aggression principle, like all government enforcement.

Your party was in power for most of this time and you failed to pass a living wage.

Undocumented immigrants pay almost $100 billion in taxes each year. The top 1% evade $163 billion in taxes each year. Stop pretending that immigrants are the ones taking advantage of taxpayers.

@AskAmex I have just had the most horrible service from Amex platinum travel. I booked flights, got confirmations and flight records. Amex could not reconfirm today and said it would take 10 days for a manager to call back. 3 hours on the phone. Amex admits fault. Will not compensate.
