@kavalir2 @HLTVorg "for some reason" ye I wonder why Anyway yes there are many foreign smaller teams at these lans and frankly I don't know where they find the money for it Flights, accommodation, event entry fee, etc, it does add up But sure, "a lot" is perhaps an exaggeration for a single event

@shinsuqq @HLTVorg given that the Russians were able to set up a centralized doping cover-up system to ensure their athletes’ victories at the 2014 Olympics, I’m not naive enough to think they wouldn’t be capable of organizing shady LAN schemes to farm VRS points for their top teams.

@kavalir2 @HLTVorg Are you aware of how any of this works? They can't get into tier 1 events unless they're invited or win a qualifier And to go to the tier 2 EU LANs you need a lot of money And after that there's all the Visa and travel issues for Russians So just simpler to attend local LANs
