@BirdCentralPark @DAllenNYC @SigneHammer1 We had seen the heron flying before it landed so unaware it was in trouble. Hope it’s ok.

Thanks to @DAllenNYC for reporting this Great Blue Heron (we had earlier retweeted a photo from @kavdeb) for appearing ill at Carl Schurz Park. With help from the Rangers, the @wildbirdfund, and @SigneHammer1, it was rescued!
