We’re roughly 212 days into the bear market.
Once BTC moves beyond 200+ days from the cycle top, Q2 and Q3 have tended to bring additional downside, with fresh lows being set.
What does that imply? If history repeats once again, BTC likely has around 3 months left to establish its bear market bottom.
You can bet against history, but I won’t.
My consistency is rooted in data and recurring patterns. Until that changes, I’ll keep trading what has consistently been happening.

Bias doesn’t matter when the technicals are telling a different story.
Since I made it public that I was officially closing my swing short, $BTC has moved up 7%, and if I had held the full position, it would’ve been a complete round trip.
Erasing all profits unnecessarily.
This is what proper trade management looks like, staying objective and not letting bias dictate decisions.
Yes, we are still in a range. Yes, we have a high chance of filling the (67K) CME gap in due time.
However, the key takeaway here is to never stay attached to one side, external factors can outweigh the direction you want the market to go.

Officially closing my swing short. The RR is too unfavorable from a HTF perspective. While the setup might still reach its target, I’m choosing to close my short exposure given that $BTC is already down 50%.

$BTC As my 14th pivot approaches, BTC is developing bearish structure into it, something we don’t typically see. The 14th could either mark a pivot low or signal continuation to lower levels (as seen for 8 months straight). Historically, price tends to rally into the 14th creating a false narrative before the reversal. The absence of that move this time suggests the pattern may be changing.
