@PersonthePerso2 Based off the ending of episode 1 the real world is in the same style as the show. Kind of funny to think the Circus looks hyper realistic to these characters.

@mrjinjin2612 also you cant really see it but you can see it on his ugly ass kid, i also gave him eyebrows that i have covering the eye whites a bit so when he raises his eyebrows his eyes actually widen

and the infinite reveal didn't recontextualize anything either, it didn't make you go "so THATS why xyz happened" or "that makes you view xyz in a different light!!"
just a bad resolution if you ask me. poor leadup and it doesnt do much but answer the question of "who did it??"

-the way the reveal was ACTUALLY handled was incredibly disappointing because it felt like nothing LEAD US THERE, yknow??? like i was thinking for nothing and i should've just waited for the story to give it to me on a silver platter and then plot dump the how and why at the end.

yk the character writing in the chaotix casefiles was pretty good (besides sonic himself) but i think it did a bad job at being a mystery plot.
it STARTED solid, giving you enough clues to deduce the function of the lenses, but it totally dropped the ball with the villain reveal

@PersonthePerso2 granted i'm not expecting good mystery writing from sonic considering the chaotix casefiles was pretty much them telling you Phantom Ruby like 5 episodes in and that was the mystery besides like, yknow, being able to deduce what the astroscopic lenses did. but thats a tangent.

@PersonthePerso2 bc nobody else sonic is familiar with would fit this modus operandi and illicit that reaction from him yk?? a good mystery i think can mislead you but the points are all there for you to piece together if you look, so if this were intended as a misdirect its really poorly handled
