@tylerbritton_ Most Valuable Player (greatest offensive player with the greatest offensive season of all time) vs Most Valuable GM + Most Valuable Coach (severely underrated) + all time defensive team (+ shooting luck) + All time great Season from the guard spot.

She's smiling because she thought Chris Rock asked her out because he found her attractive. She doesn’t understand that when men have beef with each other, they try to take what the other man cherishes most to humiliate him and crush his ego. And there is no better way to humiliate a man than by taking his wife, the one person who should be the closest and most loyal to him. This is exactly what Chris Rock tried to do to Will Smith, but she isn’t even seeing it because she thinks she’s the main character in a beef where she’s just a pawn.

Jada Pinkett Smith brags that Chris Rock asked her out after Will Smith slapped him, once he heard their relationship was on the rocks 😳👀

I think it’s okay to recognize DeMar as a scoring genius who has been extremely consistent and durable over his career. If your team has faced him you know how scary it is when he’s got it going. He also has been an important part of very good teams, and grew his game into more of a playmaker as his career went on. And it’s also okay to recognize that his game can be slightly single-faceted at times which can temper his impact despite scoring brilliance. And we can do all that without insulting the player and dismissing what has indisputably been a great career.

Joe Budden speaks on his reaction to Ye’s back-to-back SoFi shows 🏟️: “I wanna give props to the stage designer Aus Taylor from Baltimore. I had to look it up and find out who it was, that’s how blown away I was. Ye, every time he pops out like that, is one of the better visual artists of our lifetime, regardless of how you feel about his psyche.”

Doc Rivers on his relationship with Giannis Antetokounmpo: “We have a great relationship. You know, Shams [Charania] wrote an article that was so inaccurate… the first thing I thought was ‘Where’s Woj? I miss Woj so much.’”

Saying it's "deeply disturbing" that DeMar DeRozan could finish his career as a top-10 scorer in NBA history was stupid, and that guy deserves heat for it. A poor choice of words. Or dumb, if we're honest. DeRozan is well within his rights to defend himself.

Jonah Hill made a movie about a celebrity trying to survive a cancellation and cast himself as the crisis lawyer. This is a man who watched his ex post their private texts to 50 million people, got labeled "emotionally abusive" overnight, and vanished from public life for three years. His response wasn't a Notes app apology. He wrote a screenplay, got Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz attached, convinced Martin Scorsese to act in it, and sold it to Apple. Two Oscar nominations. $6B+ in combined box office. $60K paycheck to work with Scorsese because he wanted it that badly. None of it protected him from one Instagram story. So he built the movie version. A Hollywood star gets blackmailed, goes on a forced apology tour, confronts every person he ever wronged. The plot summary reads like a therapy homework assignment. The most honest detail: Hill cast himself as the lawyer, not the star. The guy helping someone else navigate the exact crisis he lived through. That's not a comedy. That's an exorcism with a SAG card.

Jonah Hill is releasing a new film on Apple tomorrow called Outcome, featuring Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, Hill & Martin Scorsese. Expect more posts about Jonah Hill from me throughout the day- I have a lot to say about him. But I do plan on watching Outcome this weekend.

He got traded for Kawhi Leonard and one of the best role players of the generation, Danny Green. The San Antonio Spurs still won 48 games with DeRozan as the 2nd-best player and lead ball handler. There is no shame in a team getting better after trading for a top-30 player ever. If anything, this speaks to the player DeRozan was. It isn’t some keen observation to bring up his on-offs or playoff struggles in an attempt to diminish what a player accomplished as some novelty act, this is already understood by people who watched that era of basketball. That’s what people don’t get; we don’t care whether DeRozan is the 80th or 120th best player in NBA history, we think it’s awesome he’s 18th all-time in scoring and has 26,000+ points. Only people who needed the self-assurance of an online circle-jerk think contextless red ink is meaningful.

The dumbest faux-criticism of Demar I've seen so far is "Toronto immediately won when they traded him" It's not an insult to say a guy is worse than prime/healthy Kawhi. A full season of peak Kawhi is an upgrade over most players in NBA history-- probably more than you realize.
