Today was a special day at the Indiana Statehouse. Union was recognized at the 2026 @EducateIN Literacy Achievement Celebration. We had 100% of our students pass IREAD last year. Over the last three years, I’ve been able to take one guest, and this year Mrs. Small joined me. It was extra special today to have @CreeksideElem join us. My colleague and friend, Dr. @mbheiden, was the guest speaker for their outstanding growth in IREAD.💙@SecJennerIN @myfcs Also, a shout out to @MarianUniv for being part of the journey last year!

Mrs. Ericson’s class participated in the @DailyJournalNet design an advertisement contest. The class created ads for Locke Trucking and the @JCPLIN. Today, the Junior Journal came to the U. Shelby and Charlie’s ads were chosen. Mrs. Locke (Locke Trucking and Union Alumni Family) joined us today to celebrate. Congrats to Shelby (Locke Trucking) and Charli (JCPL) DJ contest winners! @myfcs
