As a coach, now more than ever, it’s imperative you define “winning” for your program…AND for you as a leader, mentor and coach! The scoreboard will always be there showing the result of a contest…a moment in time. And fact is, there are countless factors beyond our control that contribute to that final score. However, there are many other factors you do control that not only contribute to winning games (yes, they matter!), but to winning the game of life…and beyond! Great thing is, as a coach, you can choose which ones will complete YOUR definition of “winning.” Attitude? Effort? Toughness? Gratitude? Resilience? Selflessness? Delayed gratification? Loyalty? Forgiveness? Self-discipline? Commitment? Self-control? Faith? Love? Purpose? THESE are all factors you can control and choose to emphasize as a part of your definition of winning…or not. No matter how much the game changes…your purpose remains the same Coach! Remember your WHY!

I do not understand how playing SS is going to be less wear and tear on the body then RF....I don't understand why you take a multiple gold glove winner and put him at a different position especially after trying it last year and then going back on the decision. Not sure Dodgers!
