Excited #TheGrackleProject's 1st parasite article is out! Led by Maria Pacheco, tested blood from 87 grackles in Arizona 2018-2020. Found high Plasmodium prevalence & some Haemoproteus. Grackles=tolerant hosts meaning they're infected, but behave normally doi.org/10.1371/journa…
