As rain chances take a step back, we will crank up the heat. Highs will sit around 90° with feels-like temps sitting closer to the triple digits. A summer-like weekend for sure! We will keep an eye on a slug of tropical moisture moving into the Gulf that could fuel rain next week

A mild, but seasonable start this morning. We may find some patchy fog closer to sunrise, but then mainly sunny skies will take us through the rest of the afternoon. Highs will climb just shy of 90° with feels-like temps in the mid/upper 90s. More of the same this weekend!

After a foggy morning, we will find plenty of sunshine for your Thursday. Temperatures will continue to climb into the weekend, with highs making a run toward 90°. While we're moving into a drier pattern, we're not shutting off the rain chance completely.

Give yourself some extra time to get from point A to point B this morning. Moisture from yesterday's rain, clear skies, and light winds overnight have allowed fog to develop across the Brazos Valley. We'll find plenty of sunshine this afternoon, pushing highs into the upper 80s.

Rain-cooled air in place following storms that rolled across the region last night. Lingering showers are expected through sunrise before rain chances taper off for the rest of Wednesday. Only isolated rain chances stick around through the weekend.

Just before 6 am, and while the strongest part of this storm system has cleared us to the east, some rain is hanging around. We'll watch for some light/moderate showers this afternoon as another disturbance passes to the south. Rain remains isolated the rest of the week.

Watching for a few afternoon showers today before our next storm system moves in late tonight. The severe threat is low, but a stronger storm or two could accompany the heavy rainfall and flooding potential. The most impactful activity should fall from 12 am to 6 am.

Keeping things mostly dry today before our next complex of storms arrives late tonight. The bulk of storm activity looks to move through during the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday. The severe threat is low, but a strong storm can't be ruled out. Keep your phone volume on overnight!

Rain chances remain isolated the next couple of days, before storm chances climb by midweek. An upper-level disturbance will arrive late Tuesday-early Wednesday. The severe threat is low, but the flooding threat is elevated and has prompted a First Alert Weather Day.

We are taking a step back from the heavy rain and flood threat, but we're not done with the rain completely. We'll find plenty of sunshine today, pushing highs to the upper 80s. By the late afternoon, we'll watch for an isolated pop-up or two. Rain chances climb by midweek.

This nearly stationary storm has put down a LOT of water in not a lot of time. National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Brazos County until 10:30pm. Numerous roadways are flooded, if you encounter standing water do not attempt to drive through it.

Heading into the Memorial Day weekend with more rain on the way. Rain chances are isolated today. The further we get into Saturday, the higher the coverage gets. When it's not raining, it'll be hot! A few strong storms are possible this weekend, but the main concern is flooding.

Closing out the week with one of the driest days through the rest of the holiday weekend. While an isolated afternoon shower is possible, most of us look to stay dry today. Tonight we'll watch for another disturbance out west before more widespread rain moves in Saturday.

Another morning watching the radar. Most activity has struggled to hold together as it approaches the Brazos Valley this morning. We'll likely find additional storms this afternoon as daytime heating destabilizes the atmosphere, bringing a localized flood threat.
