Live adaptation for global interest? No problem. I live for the art of it. But is it the actual intendention of the media? No. It's nowhere near that, they want engagement AND money. Do you read orv? Did you get the message behind orv? What have you learned from the concept of

EXACTLY it's basically taking away the story's point, be it historically or literary. The swords being used as weapons contrasting to modern world should have been one of the story's impact but NO they decided to take it away

Real talks tho, the tools and weapons in orv have *literal* strength because they have story and history attached to them. If the movie was targetting global audiences, it would have been a wonderful opportunity to showcase Korean/Asian history and mythos but alas...
