@PolyglotChris European trophy, qualification for the Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup is miles better for me personally.

If we somehow win the Europa League and finish in the top 5, that will be our best season in over 40 years. Praying Emery can pull it off. 🙏

Not sure #avfc can keep batting above themselves forever though, and a lot of work to do in the summer. Just need to get ourselves over the line…. two lines if possible… then see what the situation allows. But we’re doing it. And doing it is very good under the circumstances.

Villa were fine. Not amazing, but fine. Had the chances to win it, but didn’t take them. Thursday / Sunday is tough. Rogers has played a lot of football. We’re not the 4th best team in the country but we’ve put ourselves in a great position. Just ticking them off now. #avfc

I think the Europa League will be our only route to that vital Champions League money. We beat a poor Bologna - but we also have Forest or Porto in a semi - and who knows in a Final. We suffer under pressure, and that won't change until summer. Pivotal moment these last weeks.

Villa should have won that game, but they didn't perform in a way that deserved to. Forest were relentless, motivated, & direct. Villa were lackadaisical, static, & the ball was a hot potato to us. This ball control issue has plagued us for ages. It is why we relied on Jack.

@TyBracey Maybe. But I think you’ve always got to take a look at the opponents and current form, not just the table. Forest have a decent squad, decent coach now, improved recently. It’s frustrating as we missed three excellent chances, of course. But an away point at least.

@danbardell probably Kamara (75%). Dont have the numbers for that in all competitions anyway. In the Premier League it goes Lindelof (75%), Kamara (72.2%) and then Torres (64.7%)
