Earlier today worked RI1ANY in Antarctica 🇦🇶 (Gridsquare: JB59WF / distance: 13598 km) on QO-100 🛰️ (28.5° el / 156.7° az) using USB. Great to have a second station on Es’Hail2 from Antarctica. Yuri had a LOUD signal 📢😎 #hamr #wavelog #amsat

@KE9AJ Tnx! Curiosity got the better of me so I did some digging. This part of Wilapa Bay is described as a 'saltwater/brackish estuary'. I'll take it!! Might look at beefin' up the radial system before too long.

Batteries are going critical so calling it a(nother) day at the bay. Have decided -perhaps foolishly- that I’m gonna Kilo this place. 360ish Qs already in the bag. Don’t think I’ll put a time limit on it, though.

After snow yesterday, today was a lovely bright day in #POTA GB-0048. Approx 110 logged total using a very small remotely tuned antenna 7-30MHz and 75W, inc my first RS44 @amsat pass in 6 months. Also tried out the HAM2K logging prog on iPhone (FB!). Great fun #hamradio
