E não faz sentido essa desculpa q era chinês pq foi distribuido pela Aniplex em parceria com a Bilibili e o estúdio BeDream, está no catalogo da Crunchyroll e até conta com a participação de Hiroyuki Sawano na trilha sonora Vai ser bem decepcionante se for revelado no futuro que o anime não concorreu por questões políticas..afinal vimos Solo Leveling ganhar algumas categorias e a obra é originalmente coreana... Suicide Squad Isekai foi feito em parceria entre a Warner Bros e concorreu ao anime awards do ano passado e olha que os EUA até hoje cometem vários crimes de guerra e fazem muita merda pela mundo...

@Graaffiti Demon Slayer is objectively the most financially successful anime series in history. If they went head to head at the box office or for manga sales, it would not be close. I feel like JJK’s memeability buoys its popularity somewhat.

I used to wonder which Anime had more fans between Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer. Their popularity & motion is insane & I've seen both convert regular humans to Anime fans But rn I believe JJK is clear. It's an anomaly. Gege & Mappa made something generational with JJK

Well no not really; this unfound idea stems from Victorian gossip and it has little base on reality (not faulting you for repeating what others do tho) though I won’t argue that he wasn’t a good statesman. But in a time when being a good king meant being good at war, faulting a medieval king for making war is insane to me. You and 1900s historians are judging him under modern lenses and contemporary morality.

Sigh. Unfortunately this is a sad topic. When I say that FSF is the best representation in media I am not joking or exaggerating. I saw one recently that was so bad I questioned my choices (Lionheart 2013) The Hollywood movies: - kingdom of heaven: terrible movie, don’t. - Robin Hood 2010: I physically couldn’t watch after 10 minutes. - Prince of thieves isn’t so bad but it’s just Robin Hood so. The lion in winter from 1968 is the most acclaimed one but it focuses on Eleanor and my god that Richard is terrible. I have yet to find a decent Richard or a decent portrayal. It’s so sad because I swear there could be an amazing Hollywood movie focused on Jaffa or even on his conquest of Cyprus. Lately I’ve been thinking that it’s a good thing — you see life is worth living because maybe in my lifetime they will make a good movie focused on him entirely.

@tunechistark toji was also ruthless, yes maki has killed but she's still a part of the "good guys" and probably relatively still holds onto that image, toji would've killed anyone he was paid to with no care in the world, that made him more of a threat

Toji didn’t just have raw strength, he had battle IQ, prep, and execution to take out Gojo. That’s a gap Maki hasn’t proven she can ever close
