It would be interesting to calculate the losses after Operation Sindoor, when Pakistan closed its airspace and Indian flights had to take longer routes, making them more expensive.

Some great stories from India's '04, '06 tours of entire squad being invited by Pakistani players for some wholesome meals. Same when Pak visited in '05, '07. Played first IPL together. It was all great until that day some bastards crossed waters and killed innocents in Mumbai.

Marketing folks nowadays have lost the touch. They are relying on simplistic tools like nostalgia baits and contrast. Marketing is no longer about creativity, it's just a template.

#WATCH | Delhi | Judge dies by suicide in Safdarjung | Father-in-law of Judge Aman Kumar Sharma's sister says, "... I spoke to my son on the call who told me that they are taking Aman to Safdarjung Hospital. By the time I reached the hospital, the doctor had already declared him dead... As per the statement given by his father to the Police, around 10 pm last night, Aman had called him saying that he was distressed and it had become difficult for him to continue living. His father departed from Alwar right then and reached here around 12 in the night. Upon arriving, he learned that Aman had been having conflicts with his wife. He told his father that he had been harassed for the last two months. His wife (Swati) is a judicial officer, and her sister is an IAS officer (Nidhi Malik) currently posted in Jammu. According to Aman, Nidhi Malik had been interfering in his life, and she was controlling his household... Aman's father said that his daughter-in-law told him that if you don't leave from here, she would call the police... The next morning, Aman's father tried to contact his daughter-in-law's parents, but they had blocked his phone... Then an argument broke out in the house. So Aman's father went to the other room. According to him, Swati was extremely angry and shouting, while Aman was crying. After a while, the noise stopped. He waited for a while, thinking that the argument had been resolved. When he went to check up on them after some time, he asked Swati about Aman's whereabouts, to which she replied that she did not know. .. When he called Aman's mobile, he heard it ringing inside the bathroom. He knocked on the bathroom door and asked him to open the door. During this, Yudhvir (Swati's chacha) and Nidhi Malik arrived. They tried a lot, banged the furniture against the door, but the door didn't open. Then the neighbours told them that there was a window in the shaft. So they got a ladder. The guard Shankar climbed the ladder, broke the window and entered the bathroom. He found Aman hanging... Aman was 30 years old..."

"It is important to note that blaming Mbappe for everything is lazy. People tend to lean into extremes, and blaming Vinicius’s poor form on Mbappe is too common; as is the disregard of all the variables that coincided, freakishly, with Mbappe’s arrival: Kroos’s departure, leaders leaving one by one, ACL injuries, players playing through pain, and the team relying heavily on young inexperienced talent while putting up with their growing pains. Also: coaching turmoil and shifts in identity. It’s been a two-year, perfect storm. Vinicius is not without blame when we discuss the failures of the Vini-Mbappe connection. Media tends to have debates about whose fault this all is. It’s not black and white; good vs bad. People should be free to criticize both, because both parties have been poor in their own way. Keep in mind one important story from this season that will be remembered for decades to come when we look back on the 2025 - 2026 season: When Xabi Alonso arrived at Real Madrid, he wanted to bring something different — something fresh — to the team’s identity. He had seen the team’s tactical struggles under Carlo Ancelotti the year before. He wanted to play faster, take less touches, be more surgical, and find openings in more creative ways than simply pumping the ball to Vinicius on the left wing and watching the offense stagnate. That offense was built around winning the ball through rabid ball recoveries, hunting opponents high up the pitch, and two key players: Arda Güler and Mbappe. Güler would take one touch, and use his second to feed a through-ball to Mbappe. Mbappe would take one-to-two touches and score. It was a system that worked. Güler racked up assists, Mbappe racked up goals, and Real Madrid racked up wins. Their only loss until November was away to Atletico Madrid — a game where the team rushed Bellingham back in his first start since recovering from shoulder surgery. He wasn’t ready. But eventually, Alonso incorporated Bellingham into the team, and by the time the Clasico rolled around in October, Bellingham himself was providing the through-balls to Mbappe, gliding out of pressure, and pressing opponents. In all this, it was Vinicius that was losing the spotlight. Alonso rarely gave the Brazilian the 90 minutes — either not starting him or subbing him off in the second half. When he had the ball, Alonso asked him to play quicker, to find teammates before defenses could set, and to tone down superfluous dribbling. It was a double-edged sword. Vinicius wasn’t happy, and the frustration built up inside him. And this is where the aforementioned story concludes: Alonso took Vinicius off in the second half of the October Clasico. Vinicius reacted furiously. The team collapsed, and was never the same again. What was supposed to be a wave of momentum to start the season as league leaders, turned into a funeral that sucked the soul out of the team." - @KiyanSo : managingmadrid.com/kiyans-observa…

Gig economy is not real economy. It does not create anything new. It just transfers order taking from analog to digital way. A local taxi stand who earlier serviced thru phone call is disrupted by an app . A local kirana who served gets disrupted by a dark store for slightly better convenience. But for the blue collar it means the same exploitative arrangement. Therefore gig economy models are financially unstable & most pivot to something else. Indian Policy makers’ fascination with gig has come at the cost of ignoring genuine capacity building where India needs talent at scale.

No Indian business house ever took Tech R&D seriously, and whenever (rarely) they tried to build, the cold truth of immense risk and years of patient burn struck them in the face, and they instantly pivoted to known profitable businesses, i.e. infra and physical stacks. That is why India has no real (big) tech visionary at all. That is why we were, are, and will remain America's digital colony. A blast from the past. An Indian LLM. It came, it saw, it went silent. 👇

@sandeep_PT Sign that AI models are not being commoditized; Baniyas come in fast to profit once anything become a talk of the public. One wonder if these companies have any innovations of their own... it's all only for profiteering like crude and telecom!
