There is some insanely beautiful colourful Rimu in there, but the star of the show is the Matai (from flooring from Otago Uni Bookshop renovations), that I was saving for another project.

Running the last of my rescued Rimu through the beach planner, table saw & then thicknesser. From the 1920s built @otago University Bookshop- to kitchens across NZ & OZ for next 30+ years

It’s time! Tbh with mh1/2/3 and LOTR I’m the closest I’ve ever been to thinking a mass unban is a good idea. At least let players do powerful things not from 4 limited run sets. If it’s not in green uban it.

@Kesswylie I think dark depths would be a mistake. It usually wins the no ban list tournaments and is very very strong.

People love these cards+decks that play them. They have years of built up fondness for them. Both from modern but also standard and draft. Some where banned for pro tour format diversity that’s no longer relevant. Others are just outclassed by what current modern looks like

Still can’t get over how good Japan were last night, even after rotating their squad. Best team of the World Cup so far. Hinata Miyazawa, Yui Hasegawa, Jun Endo and Mina Tanaka have been absolutely cooking during the group stage and Saki Kumagai is so composed at the back.
