hot take but if you buy things with the thought of 'if I don't like it I'll just unhaul it' then you're not 'organising your life', you are, in fact, part of the problem.

(yes, this is about the KaoruHana subs and I have a ton more to say, starting with italicizing indirect speech chaotically (when it should be italicized only during voiceover/phone calls or not at all) and ending with all of the sentence subjects playing hot potato in a convo)

'Is it okay that I won't walk you home?' in Japanese and the subs translate it as 'You can't walk me home, it's okay' IN B'S OWN DAMN HOUSE, it's not merely a Blind Idiot translation but something else entirely.

I don't know exactly when I noticed it, but more and more I find some truly baffling translation choices in anime subs that can only have been made by a machine. It's not like I'm fluent in Japanese, but even I can notice that when A wants to go home after visiting B, and B says-
