People keep asking me why I haven’t given up on the Gophers and why I’m not super pissed. Because I changed the way I react as a fan, you can’t change what happens on the field/court. I used to let a gophers loss ruin my day or weekend, and then I shifted to appreciating the journey. I’ve made INCREDIBLE friends through sports that I’d would of never had. I’ve gone on amazing road trips (most ending with a loss). I have a blast at games. Even yesterday, I got to tailgate with friends for hours and watch the game with people I love. Sports brings people together, winning is just the icing on that cake.

@TonyLiebert @ogcharless I thought i’d remembered that Oturu, Omersa and Kalscheur were Howard Pulley guys… Ben effectively recruited them to #gophers when Pitino was head-coach. High-school players choose to accept out of state for numerous reasons… it’s not all on the coach or program.

@ogcharless I am asking the same question -- just a trend that I have noticed.

NOTE: Nolan Winter, Daniel Freitag, Jackson McAndrew and Jack Robison all play[ed] AAU basketball with Howard Pulley, the #Gophers will likely miss out on all four players.

This was not expected by me. Ben Johnson implied it was to go pro - which is totally cool. He only has so much time to play and could make decent $ overseas. But transferring...ouch.

@JakeBrendTV Very happy for Gabe, fans here in Minnesota were unnecessarily hard on him… social-media can be so cruel. Wishing him all-the-best in whatever is next for his career… hoops or office, he’ll be great at whatever he chooses to do.

Gabe Kalscheur transferred in after the worst season in program history and helped impact the greatest turnaround in NCAA basketball history. Now, after two years in the program, his legacy is cemented.

@NadineBabu I’d say it’s too 4-of-8 players in the depth-chart… that’s not an easy thing for ANY team to overcome in a season. And that’s been for last 5-6 @bigten games… and 2-of-8 top players for the entire season 😕

Did Dawson just sprain his ankle there really bad? Didn't look like there was any impact...maybe not even the landing, could have been a rolled ankle after his 1st step away?

@NadineBabu I think the didn’t want to foul Hunter Dickinson because he was not missing FT all game… they trapped him quickly/aggressively to make him pass and THEN fouled whoever that was… or at-least that’s how I saw the situation 🤔🤷🏻‍♂️
