Governor Healey's leadership transcends mere political considerations; it embodies a genuine commitment to supporting those in need and providing a safe haven for individuals seeking refuge from adversity.

I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for Governor Healey's recent call to action, urging Secretary Noem to extend Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians. This initiative demonstrates not only her commitment to justice but also compassion.

Congresswoman Pressley filed a discharge petition seeking a three-year TPS extension, requiring 218 House signatories. Thank you my Honorable Congresswoman.

The evidence is clear: Haiti is not safe to receive its nationals, and ending TPS would endanger lives and fracture families. We call on our leaders to extend TPS beyond February 3, 2026 to protect vulnerable people and uphold both our national interests and our moral values.”

As a pastor and shepherd of God’s people, my heart is heavy, yet I remain hopeful .Haiti remains in deep distress, and its people are crying out for mercy, safety, and justice.

TPS is a proven, lawful, and pragmatic tool that protects vulnerable people while allowing them to continue contributing to the U.S. economy and supporting family members abroad. We urge the Administration and Congress to extend TPS for Haiti, uphold family unity.

Haiti remains unsafe, unstable, and unable to safely receive the return of its nationals. Terminating Temporary Protected Status on February 3, 2026, would not only endanger lives but also disrupt U.S. communities, deepen humanitarian strain, and undermine regional stability.

#Haiti's interior ministry is currently on fire, the blaze set by gangs who are also targeting the Supreme Court. Police have been engaged in an hours long gunbattle today.

Governor Maura Healey filed an executive order on Thursday to ensure most of state government job listings do not include degree requirements and hiring managers use a “skills-based” approach when picking candidates to fill open positions. trib.al/FkZoM7z

.@MassGovernor’s Gateway to Pre-K Agenda will reduce costs for families, help people stay in the workforce and achieve Universal Pre-K access in our 26 Gateway Cities by 2026. That’s going to strengthen our workforce, lower the cost of living and set more kids up for success.

Yesterday, Gov. Healey released a FY25 budget proposal that includes $1.3 billion in Fair Share Amendment spending on transportation and education investments, but also includes damaging cuts to critical healthcare and social services programs that working people rely on. #mapoli

If you have what it takes to do the work, you should get a fair shot at getting the job — regardless of whether you have a degree. I signed an Executive Order shifting state government to a hiring strategy that focuses on skills and experience instead of college credentials.
