Im kicking myself really hard that it took me this long to see Eyimofe by the Esiri twins. Such a brilliant, professionally made movie that calls on your intellect to figure the plot out. It wont hold your hand and explain every plot point but from facial expressions, less words and environmental aesthetics you get to figure it out. Its also a brilliant story of two struggling souls looking for that light at the end of the tunnel, and I absolutely love the ending(as the doors closed). They're not in the light yet but they are walking towards it. Beautiful. This is definitely not for everyone and it requires your full attention but the reward is satisfying. Great effort from the Esiri twins. I'm so glad Nigerian filmmakers are now making the kind of movies I love to see.
