#mytruth i think a lower budget yields a more grounded and intimate feeling to television and i genuinely would only want the show to get more money to pay the actors and crew more but the plane crash scene potentially looking a little goofy is a sacrifice i’m willing to make not everything needs to look like a superbowl commercial

he is not MID just because he wasn’t a prodigy, he looks weak compared to other members of the royal family but he’s still top 5 just because he wasn’t naturally gifted and had to work at it doesn’t mean he’s not talented or skilled

zuko is canonically a mid bender. that’s literally a central part of his story. yes he improves, especially after the dragons, but he’s not extremely talented or naturally gifted like aang, who is a one in a million bender even outside of being the avatar
