@polgara28951124 @stan2w @JustineClaire65 @SocialistNHS Also we have amazing relatives (maybe not you) thag bring us treats as they know we don't get off the ward for our breaks, just a small gesture when we have held patients dieing hands and made sure they are clean and pain free.

@kell_14a @Cvt116 @stan2w @JustineClaire65 @SocialistNHS Nurses don’t do toileting. That’s HCAs. Spend some time on a ward and see how little patient care nurses actually do. The underpaid HCAs are the backbone of the NHS not the nurses.

@stan2w @JustineClaire65 @SocialistNHS Also the gangs of nurses that are standing talking as you say and disturbing your sleep is the one nurse and the 2 hca assistance trying to make sure the dieing patient has enough pain relief, the confused patient is safe

@SocialistNHS Most nurses earn in excess of £40k, with shift allowance and a bit of overtime. Main issue in all public sector is amount of sick leave. Too many play the system. I am pro nurse but don’t think striking is right, work to rule better option.

@SocialistNHS Nurses are well paid. I don't support them going on strike. What happens to the poor souls suffering in hospital?? Nursing is a vocation IMO. Shame on you for even considering it.

@TedwynBladey @SocialistNHS The retail staff tou speak of don't have the added pressure of been that deprived of breaks and rest on a 13 hour shift and then worrying incase you make a drug error that could harm are be fatel to out patients. Very different pressures!!

@SocialistNHS No other choice?! Many in Retail can only dream of the terms and conditions you have. But they kept the country fed and working without applause. What a time to go on strike when many patients are in real hardship.
