I'll send a wrap-up email in the morning. Email if you have questions. What's your first reaction to a Twitter chat for class? Good, bad, tolerable? #csp554

A12. Engagement and collaboration with families. Getting families on the same page can be so difficult but when a relationship is established things usually improve. #csp554

A10. Reinforcing effort and providing recognition. Getting all students motivated and engaged in the activity in PE is what makes it work. #csp554

When working on a skill which is usually a standard for grading, I am watching student do it and giving them direct feedback. When a student is struggling, I usually try to work 1 on 1 with them to see what might be off. #csp554

Sometimes I allow student to pick their groups for a change which helps motivate them to work well together. We also have discussions about what it means to be on a team and during activities, walking around getting students involved in the group activity. #csp554

A2. It’s rare that we have students take notes in PE at the elementary level. After each chapter write down the important components. I think handwritten notes help me remember things better. #csp554

A2: I need user friendly and easy to navigate. Teaching older coworkers how to navigate an app or program that has a lot of steps can be very time consuming and frustrating for both #CSP877

For summer classes, I communicate more than in the school year teaching in the elementary. Schoology-helpful for quick reminders and check in with kids. PreciouStatus-pulling away from teaching time and more policy I have to follow which isn’t being seen by parents. #CSP877

Q2: It has to be user-friendly. I don't have time to spend hours figuring out new tools. Colorful and visually appealing help too! #CSP877
