The Summit key themes: Energy Transition and Green Industrialisation, Reform of the International Financial Architecture, Blue Economy, Sustainable Agriculture, AI and Digital Technologies, Resilient Health Systems, and Peace and Security, resonate deeply with Africa’s aspirations for sustainable development, stability, and shared prosperity. Joined the Session on Peace and Security, co-chaired by President William Ruto and President Emmanuel Macron, where leaders examined Africa’s security challenges and responses, ranging from migration and mediation to financing peace operations and the reform of the United Nations Security Council.

The meeting co-chaired by France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot, brought together the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Ali Youssouf; Sierra Leone’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Chair of the African Union C-10, Musa Kabba, alongside representatives of African nations, regional bodies, and development organizations from across the continent.
