@JohnFSilver @Fanatics burned me on a basic UConn tee shirt—very flimsy with a cheap, thin iron on logo. It looked like it was a bored kid’s snow day craft project. I surf the website from time to time but never hit the buy button—just the bye button… Never again.

I stay away from jerseys and t shirts these days because I know a nice shirt when I see/feel it. People will pay premium for official, but it has to be much better than my friend charlie’s t-shirt press.

The president, at the ongoing Cabinet meeting, is repeating his usual lies about inflation, the economy and more. Just some of the previously debunked false claims so far: - He claimed grocery prices are down. They're up: 2.7% year-over-year as of September, 1.4% since January - He claimed he is cutting prescription drug prices by 500% to 900%. These numbers make no mathematical sense; they'd mean people would get paid to acquire their medications - He claimed he has "stopped inflation in its tracks" since January. The September year-over-year inflation rate, 3.0%, was the exact same as the rate in January - and September was the fifth consecutive months the year-over-year rate had increased - He claimed he inherited the worst inflation of all time. He inherited 3% inflation, same as the most recent rate. Even the Biden-era peak, 9.1% in June 2022, wasn't close to an all-time high, and it then declined - He claimed he's secured more than $18 trillion in investment commitments since he returned to office. That is nearly double the $9.6 trillion figure the White House uses on its website, and a detailed review shows even that smaller figure is wildly inflated - He claimed he ended eight wars. Among other issues, his list includes two supposed wars that did not actually exist during his presidency, Egypt-Ethiopia and Serbia-Kosovo, and a war in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo that has not actually ended - He claimed the US gave $350 billion in wartime aid to Ukraine. A US government inspector general says $187 billion was appropriated for the war response through June, including money spent in the US and broader Europe - He claimed Washington, DC now has "no murders," which wasn't close to true even before the attack on National Guard troops last week - He claimed the 2020 election was rigged. It wasn’t, he lost, this is a lie

Whatever they do, find someone who is gonna go down swinging. Find the guy with a crazy offense that doesn’t believe in punts. Don’t find the guys that are happy to punt on 4th and 1, trying not to lose in regulation only to lose in OT.
