The "Gen Z" discourse is reaching a boiling point. Older generations call it "lack of work ethic," but if you look closer, it’s actually a demand for efficiency and transparency. We shouldn't see digital native confidence as entitlement. Evolution in the workplace is inevitable

This afternoon, I joined my colleagues from the United Opposition to address the troubling political interference in the recently concluded investigation into justice for the victims of the Witima ACK Church. We stand united in defending accountability, protecting the integrity of our institutions, and ensuring that the victims and their families receive the justice they deserve.

Kenyan politics is a game of musical chairs, but the economy doesn’t wait for the music to stop. 🇰🇪 While the 'grand bargains' and 2027 lineups dominate the headlines, the real focus should be on the cost of doing business and the shrinking middle class. Hustle gents.

Love doesn't discriminate in Kenya or anywhere. I love the rich, the poor, the black, the white – I feel at home everywhere. I've always been about bridging love, no matter the space #LoveWithoutBorders #UnityInDiversity 😊

Give credit where it is due. President Uhuru Kenyatta built serious transport infrastructure: road and rail. President William Ruto should construct a dual carriage road from Nairobi to Soy, via Eldoret. I will pick up from there to Malaba in 2032. Affordable housing ni kipindi.

Just but one of the many schools that have received infrastructural development thanks to the M.P @DidmusWaBarasa . C.D.F allocation to Kimilili Constituency was fully utilised on development in education and the health sector. It's time for the man to go a notch higher. #BGGov27

Let me be very clear and brutally honest. An economy is not built on PR, handouts, or political daydreams about 2027. While the Tutam captain is busy plotting succession and settling political scores, Kenya’s economy is flat on its back. Uganda is growing at 7.6%, Tanzania at 6.3%, and Kenya? We are gasping for air, competing at the bottom. These are not insults, these are economic indicators. You cannot build an economy on mortars and bricks and call it a housing project miracle. Construction without productive value chains does not grow an economy. Housing does not export. Housing does not increase industrial output. Housing does not strengthen manufacturing, agriculture, or SMEs. What we are seeing is money being sunk into concrete while factories are closing, SMEs are dying, farmers are strangled, and consumers are overtaxed. That is not growth that is economic cosmetics. Since July, the economy has been paralysed. Counties can’t move because funds are delayed, conditional, or politically weaponised. Some counties like Kilifi have not implemented a single meaningful project. When counties stall, jobs stall. When jobs stall, consumption collapses. When consumption collapses, businesses die. This is basic economics, not rocket science. Then we are told Nyota and other handouts are “stimulus.” Let’s be serious. Handouts are not economic policy. They have no multiplier effect. They don’t build capital, they don’t create sustainable jobs, and they don’t grow productivity. Whatever was given in Western Kenya is not felt because it was never meant to transform lives ,it was meant to buy silence. Instead of focusing on industrial growth, agricultural value addition, export competitiveness, affordable credit, and predictable taxation, the President is busy running around trying to destroy ODM. Politics has replaced policy. Guesswork has replaced planning. Optics have replaced outcomes. President Ruto, economies don’t grow on slogans. They grow on production, productivity, confidence, and trust. Right now, all four are collapsing. If this economic gamble continues, Kenyans will not need persuasion in 2027—they will judge you by empty pockets, closed businesses, and stalled counties.
