“Grow a Garden” is one of the most important releases we’ve seen on Roblox in a long time. Not because it’s trending, but because of what it represents.
It’s a systems-driven game that rewards consistency over chaos. There’s no PvP, no combat, no flashy gimmicks — just a tight gameplay loop built on progression, collection, and peaceful engagement. And players are loving it.
This is a huge signal to the platform. For years, the assumption has been that only fast-paced, high-stimulation games can thrive on Roblox. But Grow a Garden flips that idea on its head. It’s cozy, thoughtful, and deliberately slower — and it’s outperforming expectations.
From a dev standpoint, this should be encouraging. It means there’s room on Roblox for well-designed, content-rich, low-stakes games. It means that polish, atmosphere, and depth can be just as viable as spectacle. And most importantly, it shows that Roblox’s audience is evolving. Players are open to different kinds of experiences now — not just what’s loudest.
Expect more games like this to follow. This is a pivot point. The floor is open for devs to bring something new to the table — and be rewarded for it.
Thank you @jandelRblx for opening this new horizon for so many Roblox developers.

@BismarckRblx AI went crazy with this one. Grow a Garden, Dead Rails, Steal a Brainrot... definitely have visual quality above 80%, high-detail assets, realistic uis and fps framework 🙏

You’re not here by accident. You’re seeing this because you’re hungry — maybe even desperate — to break out of the average Roblox dev cycle. You’re done doing one-off commissions, chasing small checks, or wasting your time on projects that go nowhere. Good. We don’t want average. We want killers.
We’re UpNext Studios — and we’re not building a game.
We’re building a brand. A movement. A legacy.
And we need one thing: a high-level, relentless scripter to join us as a partner and help take this to the moon.
We’re talking:
•Fully original games that stand out — not rinse-and-repeat copies
•Huge monetization plans already laid out
•Growth strategies, marketing, and infrastructure handled — all we need is you
You’ll be scripting everything from immersive gameplay systems to smooth-as-butter UI and backend logic. But this isn’t a 9–5 gig. We need someone who’s obsessed. Who’s on Discord daily, who doesn’t whine when things get tough — someone who says “Let’s go. I’ll figure it out.”
This is not a commission.
This is ownership.
You help us build it, you help us launch it, you eat with us.
Requirements:
•Expert-level scripting knowledge in Roblox Lua
•Massive drive to build something iconic
•Smart, independent problem solver
•Highly active and consistent
•Willing to go all in
Bonus if you:
•Know how to integrate cool monetization systems
•Have experience shipping full games
•Understand UI, VFX, or optimization

If you’re tired of being the hired and want something more, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
DM us. Pitch yourself.
Let’s make something legendary.

@alexpie322010 There is no point in discussing it any further. AI sucks, and by using it you are only making your lack of skills worse. Finally, I will add, no, AI is not capable of writing medium/hard scripts well, and even if it could one day, it won't matter if the code is unstructured
English

@kenczi 2 years ago ai could barely generate images, couldn’t generate videos, and could only make the most basic scripts like kill bricks. Now, ai can make photorealistic videos and photos, can practically replace every type of artist(on Roblox), and can program medium-hard scripts.
English

@alexpie322010 I've been hearing this for a few years now, AI is sometimes useful, but it still often gets lost and hallucinates. Programmers are not at risk, only webdev noobs
English

@alexpie322010 Yeah, scripting isn't safe beacuse chat gpt gave you code with 5 memory leaks

@Scattered_Dev @CptRaphie There is a difference between ego and self-confidence
English

@CptRaphie I find ego is how you value yourself, so I think everyone should have a big ego. Saying someone has a big ego shouldbe taken as a compliment
