If I were @awscloud and serious about fixing documentation bugs, I’d gamify it with AWS credits. $10 for a typo, $30 for an IAM * policy, etc.
No joke. Dropbox did this with free space and I maxed that thing out just because it was fun.

You cannot trust something to be 'green' unless you can observe it in production. TDD is the "it compiled" of modern software. Doesn't mean it runs.
The universe of complex systemsry not-covered by tests is far, far greater than that which is covered (and expanding daily).

@Daganev @mipsytipsy Having thought about this a bit more, liking TDD to ODD probably isn't a good analogy. But: TDD feedback today is less meaningful to me than it used to be. I cannot trust something to be "red" or "green" unless I can observe it in production.

In theory, elasticity means you can scale down with demand. Do you?

I've been involved in a lot of data breach disclosures and every time I think I've seen the worst possible response by an organisation, someone else goes and lowers the bar. Here's the full Surebet247 story, wow! troyhunt.com/the-difficulty…

Muxy is a tool for simulating distributed systems failures. Just fixed the network shaper module for OSX - how does your software behave when the network is flakey or slow? Find out #network-shaper" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">github.com/mefellows/muxy…
