If you enjoy being the rich guy among your siblings and you enjoy seeing them beg you for stuff. Have a rethink. A rich man in a kindred of poor people is extremely poor.

Bringing Gravenberch on as a No.6 to protect a lead does not suit him or Liverpool. The moment he drops that deep, the midfield opens up and teams start running through us. He is better when he can carry the ball, link play and attack space. Push him forward, not deeper.

Liverpool got the 3-1 win and moved back into 4th, but this was not as comfortable as it looks. Woodman’s saves kept us alive, Isak looked sharper, Salah’s injury is a huge worry, and the midfield became too open late on immediately grevenbach came on. Big win, but still warning signs.

⚽ GOAL — Tomás Soucek | 51' The big Czech midfielder arrives in the box and puts West Ham ahead. Soucek doing exactly what he was built to do, arriving late, winning the second ball, and making it count. London Stadium wakes up. Everton had the better first half. This changes everything. #WHUE #PremierLeague #Soucek

⚽ GOAL — Fermín López | 45+1' Right on the stroke of halftime and Barcelona punish Getafe with a knife through the block. López finds the net just as Getafe thought they had survived the first half. That timing is cruel. Barcelona go in ahead but Getafe have made this very uncomfortable with a 0.27 xG. #GetafeBarca #LaLiga #Barcelona

🏁 HALF TIME — Liverpool 2-0 Crystal Palace Isak and Robertson put Liverpool in command but the xG tells a different story. Palace have had 3 big chances to Liverpool's 2 and carry an xG of 1.08. The scoreline does not reflect how open this game has been. Second half could go either way. #LIVCP #PremierLeague

⚽ GOAL — Bryan Okoh | 88' The Swiss defender drives one in from the backline and suddenly it is 3-2. A team battling relegation with nothing to lose has found a lifeline in the 88th minute. Groupama Stadium is nervous now. Do not write Auxerre off yet. Two minutes plus stoppage time.

⚽ GOAL — Andrew Robertson | 40' The left back ghosts in and finishes to make it 2-0 before halftime. Anfield is rocking. But there is something bigger here, Robertson is leaving this summer after years of service. Scoring in what could be one of his final Anfield appearances. That one means everything. #LIVCP #PremierLeague #Robertson

5 takeaways from Fulham 1-0 Aston Villa: 1. Sessegnon decided it before half-time. 2. Villa had the ball, but Fulham had the better chances. 3. Fulham’s press and defence were excellent. 4. Leno’s 5 saves mattered. 5. Villa’s Champions League push just took a hit. Big win for Fulham. Bad slip for Villa.

⚽ GOAL — Alexander Isak | 35' Mac Allister slips the ball through and Isak finishes with composure at Anfield. A £125m man who has had almost everything go wrong this season — broken leg, injury layoffs, criticism — and he delivers when Liverpool need it most. That is what he was bought for. #LIVCP #PremierLeague #Isak

⚽ GOAL — Roman Yaremchuk | 71' (2nd) Tolisso slides the ball across and Yaremchuk taps it in at the back post. A composed finish. The Ukrainian striker now has two and Lyon have punished Auxerre's naivety in the second half completely. Game over. This is clinical finishing from Lyon. #LyonAuxerre #Ligue1

⚽ GOAL — Corentin Tolisso | 66' Khalis Merah plays the perfect pass and Tolisso finishes clean. Lyon turn up the heat in the second half and now they move ahead against a struggling Auxerre side that cannot keep pace with Fonseca's momentum. Tolisso delivers when it matters. That is quality finishing. #LyonAuxerre #Ligue1

Chelsea players had plenty to say when results were bad, but when Liam Rosenior left, nobody posted a goodbye. Not Enzo. Not Cucurella. Not anyone. That silence says plenty. It tells you the bond between manager and squad was never really there.

Key takeaway from Betis 1-1 Madrid: Madrid had the sharper chances and led early through Vini, but Betis matched them in control, kept shooting, and punished them at 90+4’. For Madrid, it was not just two points dropped; it made the title race feel even colder.

One of the greatest underdog stories in football is currently happening in the Switzerland Super League 🇨🇭 As Leicester City have just been relegated to League 1, FC Thun are having their own 2016 Leicester season. FC Thun have never won the league in their over 120 years of existence and were in the second division last year before securing promotion to the top flight After promotion, their main objective was to avoid relegation, having been the second lowest spenders in the league at the start of the season. As the season began, they won their first four games catching everyone by surprise But many believed they would eventually fall off after that purple patch Fast forward to April, they are now 14 points clear at the top with only 5 games left to play and a win this weekend against 3rd placed Lugano would make them champions of Switzerland Their manager, Mauro Lustrinelli is achieving this with Sir Alex Ferguson’s classic 4-4-2 style I just hope they do not Arsenal it as they need only two points to secure their first ever league title in 128 years.

5 takeaways from Sunderland 0-5 Nottingham Forest: 1. Forest are almost safe now. 2. Sunderland had the ball, but Forest had the punch. 3. Four first-half goals killed the game early. 4. Forest’s attack is suddenly flying. 5. Spurs and West Ham should be very worried now. Forest did not just win. They changed the relegation picture.

Spurs are likely going down. The proof is not just the table. They are 18th. They have not won a league game in 2026. Their winless run has reached 15 matches. And their final games still include Aston Villa away, Leeds, Chelsea away and Everton. At this point, survival needs a miracle run. 😢

Arsenal can still win this league. The reason is simple: their next two Premier League games come before Man City play another league match. Newcastle at home. Fulham at home. Win both, and the pressure goes straight back on City. This race is not over. Arsenal still have a real route back.

5 key things from Arne Slot’s presser before Crystal Palace: 1. Palace comes first, next season can wait. 2. Alisson’s muscle issues are being watched closely. 3. Slot is not feeding transfer rumours. 4. Liverpool need the goals to come back. 5. Ekitike’s road is long, but the belief is clear. The tone was simple: focus now, fix the attack, protect the players, and keep building.

@FootballwGaming There is no agenda there if you are bought for a specific purpose and at the end of the day it did not work out what happens? you either get benched, loaned out or sold outrightly. But the central message is when you don't fit in even after the huge amount you spent, same outcome

Pep at City has a pattern with some big-fee signings: Buy them for a special role. Run the tactical experiment. If it does not click perfectly, they get benched, loaned or moved on. Grealish. Phillips. Cancelo. Laporte. Nunes. Pep ball can be genius. It can also get awkward fast.
