@dgardner I'm often with you, but you are mistaken on this one. Sure, we are wired to join the crowd and give standing ovations. But learning in the moment that Hunka fought against Russia in WWII should have given the audience pause. I would not have mindlessly applauded given that info.

Are there any studies out there that suggest that keeping the gyms closed makes sense from a pubic health perspective? That is, is there data showing that the benefit of forced gym closures wrt risk of Covid spread outweighs the substantial and measurable damage to our health?

Has @francoislegault shared any science at all supporting keeping #gyms closed at this phase of the #pandemic, while restaurants, theatres, etc. are opening? We know that many in #Quebec are having our physical, cardio, and mental health damaged by being locked out of our gyms.
