I recently switched from beer to vodka screwdrivers, specifically with Ketel One, and boy, what a difference. The screwdriver is a healthful, youthful drink. I wake up the next day refreshed; skin taut, body lithe. What a change from dark, heavy beer -- a world of difference!

It's a frontlash, and there's no backlash to it. What I will say in her partial defense is that in a YouTube video from three years ago about her poly relationship, West was forthright about the fact that no man prior to her husband ever treated her remotely well, making clear that the basic calculus behind her indulgence of his BS was her experience-based estimate of how much leverage she had over the only man who had ever treated her as worth committing to in any degree.
Perhaps the objection to the book is that she covers up this prior candor with pretentious rationalizations that are easy to shoot down.
