𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐀 𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖!!! 😍📸 This is Amahoro Stadium at its very best… and the scary part? There’s even more to come. 🇷🇼 Amazing football. A full house. A nation fully behind its team. Special country. Special atmosphere. This photo deserves a lot of reposts from everyone. #AfricanFootball #FIFASeries #VisitRwanda #Rwanda

@DrOnyemaOgbuagu This is a remarkable step forward for long acting HIV therapeutics. Twice yearly dosing has the potential to transform adherence, patient quality of life, and programmatic delivery, especially in resource limited settings. Wishing you and the team success as you move into Phase 3

Our phase 2 study on twice yearly HIV treatment is published! Yes, just twice a year dosing! An antiviral + 2 antibodies. Kept most people suppressed. Next step, Phase 3 prelicensure study, lets go! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

#URGENT FDLR says Rwanda is staging attacks in Rwanda to justify Rwandan military (RDF) presence in Congo. " These attacks are designed to create the illusion of a threat posed by the FDLR and to legitimize Rwanda’s military presence on Congolese territory,” said Cure Ngoma, FDLR spokesperson. xtrafrica.com/news/fdlr-rwan…

@ibiriti @statisticsRW However, it is a success that demands strategic consolidation. The priority is not to reverse or slow fertility decline, but to ensure that it is equitable, voluntary, and matched by investments that convert demographic change into social and economic gains.

Rwanda's fertility rate has in the last 20 yrs declined from 6.1 to 3.7 children. Is it cause for alarm or celebration? #DHS7 via @statisticsRW

@ibiriti @statisticsRW Rwanda’s fertility decline should be viewed as a public health and development success rather than a demographic threat. It reflects improved access to reproductive health services, advances in women’s education, and effective community based health strategies.

This April 7, 2025 marks the 31st commemoration of the genocide perpetrated against the Tutsi in Rwanda. France, true to its commitment to remembrance, truth, and justice, fully joins this international day of commemoration. Today, France extends its deepest thoughts and support to the Rwandan people. France honors the remarkable resilience of the Rwandan people, who have risen and built a future based on reconciliation and unity. On this day of remembrance, I reaffirm my commitment to keeping the memory of this tragic event alive, in the face of the challenges posed by revisionism and intolerance. The harrowing testimonies of survivors remind us of the urgent need to fight all forms of hatred. Since 2019, April 7 has been an official day of commemoration in France, reflecting the will to pass on to future generations the lessons of a painful past—through education, historical research, and justice. In line with the commitment I made, justice continues to move forward to prosecute and try the alleged perpetrators of the genocide who reside in France. Several major trials have taken place and justice has been served. These efforts reflect our country's unwavering determination to fight impunity and forgetfulness.

Guys, Please, let’s normalise showing up at funerals with something other than our thoughts and prayers. Sibyo? Carry a box of milk, water, or even a bag of rice. Nobody wants to mourn while also figuring out how to feed a hundred emotional eaters. Ikindi kandi, your butt crack, thighs, and cleavage don’t belong at the funeral and this applies to all genders. Let’s talk about this one person whose phone ALWAYS rings so loudly right in the middle of a heartfelt eulogy. Guys, please. Unless it’s the deceased themselves on the line, tubabarire rwose. That phonecall can wait. Auntie, please. This is a funeral, not a family planning kibina. We all know that auntie, the one who turns mourning into a census exercise. “Are you married yet? No? Why? One kid? Not enough. Five kids? Too many. No kids? Ah, you are running out of time.” Auntie, we came to bury someone, not discuss my reproductive timeline. Please Focus. Also, guys, please, let’s not get drunk like we are the ones about to be laid to rest. A few sips to honor the deceased? Acceptable. But if you’re slurring condolences, hugging random people, dancing or trying to DJ at the wake, please go home. Let’s keep the disgrace for after-parties. Sibyo? The dead deserve peace, not our foolishness.
