Fear is the most expensive emotion. It costs you time, opportunity, and the future you could have built. Trade fear for curiosity.

Great post. Completely agree. Only thing I would add is that you can also get rich by working a job and investing every dollar you can into stocks that go up which can essentially double tripled or more your income. If you invest your paychecks for a year into a stock, and that stock doubles next year, you essentially doubled your salary from the previous year (through sound investing, not gambling). Then compound and continue the next year.

At one point my son and his friend kept looking for shortcuts to getting rich. Over and over I told them the way to do it is just to make something people want. If this is what I tell my own kids about getting rich, why won't politicians believe this is how a lot of people do it?
