@HMRCcustomers why are your chat people so unhelpful - “John” just left the chat after failing to help me having kept me holding for 20 minutes I’m Deaf and can’t ring you. After 50 mins in a queue to talk to an advisor with a simple query this is a disgrace

@HMRCcustomers Yes my tax code last tax year was apparently put against a code for a small pension that there wasn’t enough money to pay for my salary. That was sorted in November moving the code onto my salary but there is still this mess and no way to contact you for a Deaf person after John

@HMRCcustomers No he just ended the chat. He did not tell me why the underpayment wasn’t sorted last Nov and how to sort it out. Also why I only just received the letter after 30 jan deadline. I’m stressed about this and he did not help at all

@HMRCcustomers It was disgusting behaviour. It was regarding how to pay my arrears and why I missed the January dealing and asking why when I contacted in November these arrears weren’t taken at source. I’m Deaf and can’t ring you and need to discuss this. Johns behaviour was awful

@NatWest_Help nat west is incompetent we have spent 8am to 8pm yesterday via @relayuk to be told all resolved after being passed round the bank again and again refusals to use relay U.K. card and account still blocked today so we start at 8am with this. Can’t even buy food

My son has been in hospital since 15th December with a life threatening condition. “Dr didn’t prescribe one “. He had no interpreter until 20/12/2022 and now for 2 hours a day as inpatient with no interpreter for assessments.

Yesterday was clearly a bad day for booking BSL interpreters. 2 Deaf friends, 2 medical appointments with no interpreter. For 1 of them this was the 3rd time! Different hospitals in 2 different counties. Whoever has this contract is literally taking the piss. @NHSEngland 1/3

@Ruth__Alexander He’s keen to get his story out there - somatic symptom disorder is a diagnosis that is given when they fail to find anything physical. In his case he has had neck surgery which our expert says is the cause. Dysphagia is so misunderstood.

@SWLSTG_NDS letting Deaf BSL users down and putting them at risk. My son has been in A and E for 8 days now with no interpreter, no signing staff and cast into hearing MH that he can’t engage with.

@NRCPD I have made a complaint. It is extremely worrying however that skills working in mental health for example are listed and vulnerable Deaf put at risk. Skills are verifiable by proof of CPD courses and practice

Why do @NRCPD list interpreters’ skills that they can’t verify? This leads to them listing skills they haven’t got and working in areas they are a liability in e.g mental health. Skills can be verified by CPD proof of attendance. I have just made a complaint!
