@TNSteeplechase nailed it! Mother nature cooperated and hospitality was G1! @Sims_Racing_ had Copper Missile shining like a new penny and fit as a fiddle for his jump debut as he won best turned out in the 2nd! Ran 5th in tough company and(I and Copper)gained valuable experience!

Hard to put into words how emotional yesterday was. Surrounded by friends and family Swore warriored his way for 3 miles and was just nipped at the wire in the Grade 1 Iroquois. It’s the honor of my racing life to share Swore with Lynn and the Hancocks and was so special having Lynn and Kate here yesterday. @Keri145 what a ride we’ve been on - and just getting started. @MulqueenStephen you are my guy, many more grade 1s to come. Congrats to @bySeanClancy. It’s an honor to represent @TNSteeplechase my home track and foundational part of 3 generations of family. Onward to Saratoga and 🥇🏆

@GiddyUpBets @KendrickCarmou1 She scoped with a trace of blood last time she ran and just wanted to make sure we prevented a bigger bleeding issue. She was on the minimum amount today and scoped clean.

When people take on the mindset that jump racing is “cruel”, this is the video I’d love to show them. In front, you have Swore who is so excited to jump he leaves out 2 strides at the first and jumps with such enthusiasm and power he is still a foot over the hurdle…he goes down to the next two & measures them with such precision and power. In second, St James the Great gives an excited tail swish after each jump, showing he is thoroughly enjoying the jumping and knows he’s quite good at it. These horses love what they do…two successful converts from the flat prepping for the 2 biggest races of their careers to date in 10 days @ @TNSteeplechase 🐎

Our first busy weekend of the season with flat runners and jump runners up and down the east coast was a success 🏆 Seconditis in NY as we had 3 fillies run 2nd in 3 different allowance races, but went on to have a fabulous day at Middleburg with 2 wins out of Fiery Dart & Siennois and two nice 3rds from Salted Carmel & Roundtop. On Sunday we had another jump winner in The Insider and Planet Clare won nicely at Laurel 🐎 A huge thank you to my whole team, jockeys, owners, and of course the horses 🏆

I don’t bring up the times that we finish in defeat, but this is a different circumstance! Really Good finishing 2nd in his steeplechase debut and showed what the team can do for a horse in just a few weeks. So proud of every groom, hotwalker, and exercise rider. The team from Keeneland and Aiken Farm worked so hard to get Really Good ready! Mike Tudor picked this guy from the claim box and we had a vision for the future! Gus Dahl couldn’t be more proud/happy for the road he’s come! Hopefully a victory is soon to be celebrated but we will enjoy the journey! #middleburgphoto
