@stoolpresidente A frustrating situation! Jogging in the deep, uneven shedow while horses are being nosy is not a fair assessment. My rec is to set up jogging stations where you bring horses to jog on stonedust in front of multiple vets. Fair surface for all.

I agree with this sentiment. Just like umps and refs do the best they can and don’t want to miss calls. But there are bad refs. Thats why there should be multiple vets so it’s majority decision. Where it gets a little nuts is when I have a ton of people look at the horse and they all agree she is good to go and we’re just breezing instead and entering again instantly. I love my horses. I’d never run them if I thought there was any issues. But when the entire world tells me there are no issues except 1 person then I think it’s fair to say more experts should be involved in the decision. I don’t think there is an agenda and I’m sure the vet did what they thought was best. Just seems antiquated to put it in the hands of 1 single person. Just like a ref or ump can make a bad call and ask for help from a group.

Today was a pretty exciting day! ⭐️ An owner of mine purchased a beautiful barn at Fair Hill a few weeks ago and I am the fortunate one that gets to expand my business into this barn. It’s crazy to think that this will be only my 6th year training on my own, and is a true testament that hard work really does pay off. I am full of gratitude to all of my staff that work so hard, my loyal owners who continue to fill my barn with incredible horses, and of course the horses themselves 🐴 ⭐️ Here’s to 2026 🥂

Really proud of Unmiztaken coming back on 2 weeks rest today in the $500k stallion series stake to finish 4th on her least preferred surface. She tried hard in a big field and will get a well deserved break now before a proper 3 year old turf campaign! @DamchuStables
