@StakeEddie A for effort but 100% the wrong way of implementing this feature. It should not be optional if it's a thing. That solves nothing. What was the teams goal with this one? What were they trying to "solve" for? It almost seems like they just took an idea and ran with it.

@kernel_jay @OpenAI The "Very High" setting isn't capping tokens, it's just routing to faster models. People think complexity tier controls cost, but it's really just model selection. You're getting GPT, 5.5 regardless, just different routing. That's the gap worth flagging.
