As an AD, I constantly remind our coaches what a captain really is. It is not always your best player, even though that is the ideal. It is the player who lives out your program’s culture every single day. The one who holds teammates accountable, shows up and works, puts the team first, and does the little things right when no one is watching. A captain is not just a talented kid who makes plays. It is the standard everyone else should follow.

@Huskerball05 He’s a great. But I kept thinking all season, he needs some more strength, size. Steph Curry went into the NBA with a similar build. He knew pretty quick he needed some more size and strength to sustain his career. If Pryce does that work in the off season his stock will rise.

@HailVarsity He did everything he could. Iowa can say all they want. They didn’t use him enough and he wanted a fresh start. Nothing wrong with players looking for another opportunity to help enrich their eligibility. Not to mention, he always wanted to play for Fred. Next year…
