Getting vaccinated while pregnant is the best way to protect your baby from the moment they are born and now is the time for mums to act. Please make sure your babies are protected ahead of their first few months this winter, when there tend to be more bugs circulating.

Persistent inequalities in baby deaths remained in 2023, with rates increasing for babies born in the most deprived areas for the third year running. Ethnic disparities also continued with Black and Asian babies more likely to die than White babies. @TIMMSleicester
