Considering my current life, single, orphaned & generally isolated, playing Stardew Valley has been a comfort, a very addictive comfort. I already got it physically on the Switch 1 & now on Steam, just to send ConcernedApe a bit more as thanks, can't wait for what v1.7 brings.

My 2nd game (I kinda gave up on the first game as I chose the beach farm *sad beginner noises*, but on the new game, choosing 4 corners, on day 9 of Fall 1st year a meteorite fell & hit nothing (lucky!) - now I'm rushing to get a gold pick... I'm kinda excited to open it soon.

10 years late to the game, but I've been trapped in Stardew Valley for the past few days & I understand now why this is so addictive, the game loop is pretty fun. Even the learning curve is good for slow older guys, also, yes Abigail, I know my way around a joystick 😏😅
